The Carbon Capture technology is an environmentally friendly water scrubbing process, based on CO2-to-water physical absorption phenomenon. The absorption process takes place in vertical, low pressure, ambient temperature gas purification reactors requiring no additional regeneration energy, e.g. steam or heat regeneration. Continuous process involves no toxic chemicals, offering premium Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) compliance.
The innovative, patented Carbon Capture technology and process design results in effective and cost-efficient CO2 production, with optimal capital expenditure (CAPEX) and low operating expenses (OPEX). The CO2-plant is easy to connect and adapt to any existing process and environment.

Our patented CO2 capture system is designed with a strong emphasis on environmental sustainability, utilizing only water as the solvent and avoiding harmful chemicals.
In this process, flue gas from industrial process is pressurized in the system, where it interacts with water in a countercurrent flow. This interaction allows CO2 to dissolve into the water according to different partial pressures and solubility, while the treated flue gas is removed from the top of the absorber. In the desorption stage, the CO2-rich water is treated to separate and purify the carbon dioxide from other gases. The result is high-quality CO2, ready for various industrial uses such as in the food industry.
By using only water, our system not only effectively reduces CO2 emissions but also minimizes environmental impact, making it a clean and eco-friendly solution for carbon capture. This innovative method highlights our dedication to protecting the environment and promoting sustainable technologies.
1. Absorber
In the absorber column, flue is gas is pressurized at the bottom of the column. The water as solvent flows down from the top of the column in counter current manner to interact with flue gas. As flue gas and water interact, CO2 dissolves in the water under pressure according it’s partial pressure and solubility, forming carbonic acid. This carbonated water is then transferred to flash tank. Other gases like nitrogen and oxygen are removed from the top of the column.
2. Flash tank
The function of the flash tank is to remove impurities, mainly oxygen and nitrogen and in the solvent remain almost pure carbon dioxide remain in the solvent.
3. Desorption
From the desorption tank, carbon dioxide separates from the solvent in high quality. The separated CO2 can then be directed back to the industrial process, pressurized or liquefied in tanks, depending on the desired transfer method.
4. Post-desorber
The water from the desorber transfer to the proprietary post-desorber to remove residue CO2 from the water to increase the mass transfer gradient.
Carbon Capture technology uses water as the only solvent, no needing water adding in the process and eliminating the need for chemicals or hazardous components, making it a safe and eco-friendly solution for carbon capture.
